CCM Sketch Challenge #35 and more...

Hello and how are you today? It's Thursday, that's right! It's a day for Chi Chi Memories, plus it's also sketch challenge week too. If you know me well... I love everything pink and green. I decided to continue using the color combination from the online summer camp. Check out my pink elephant Freddie! Isn't he's totally awesome? So bright and happy? Freddie is available at the Chi Chi Memories shop as a stamp set (4th of July set) and single stamp (4th of July Freebie). For more info on the sketch challenge, a chance to win digi's, click HERE!

Here is another card for the summer camp. I learned how to create this 'shaped' card from i {love} memento's blog. You can see it HERE! I distressed the card stock with Ranger distressing ink pad in concord grape, broken china, faded jeans, and brushed corduroy. For the image, I used Faber-Castell gelatos. And finally, I added some final touches.

Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by.

Day 2 at camp!

Hello and happy Wednesday! Here is a card that I made for Day 2 of my Online Summer Camp class, we continue to use the beautiful color combination (see below). We have learned to create a window card. I used this gorgeous background stamp from Hero Arts called Dandelion Frame. Then, I colored it with Faber-Castell gelatos, then distressed the edges. And the butterfly is from the new Hero Arts/Basic Grey Out of Print collection called Butterflies and print. And for the butterflies, I colored them with Faber-Castell big brush pens. Well, I hope you like it.

This is Ratiny on a Cupcakewhich is now available at the Softpencil shop! I used the sketch from the Sweetest Thing blog. And I kept it simple and sweet. I choose red, white, and blue to celebrate July 4th. And the paper is from 365 Degrees paper pad. I hope you like it, and please visit my fellow DT ladies' blog and see their amazing creations.

I'm at the Summer Card Camp!

Hello and happy Monday! It's finally summer here in New England, the sun is shining. The weather is absolutely beautiful. I decided to enrolled into Summer Card Camp, how fun! I'm super excited. The class starts today, if you want to join... don't worry, you can still enroll until June 29th, click HERE for details.Smiley from millan.net

Here is my first card for the class, I used one of my favorite flowers set from Hero Arts. Since it's a color combo challenge, I used memento ink in rose bud, lilac posies, and cantaloupe.

And here is another card, I'm still learning how to use my Cricut. I cut out a frame from the Sentimental cartridge. I figured to do something different, a grey and yellow combo! This cutie is from Simply Betty Stamps.

Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!

A relaxing weekend...

Hello and happy Saturday! Hope you are enjoying your weekend. Sorry for being so quiet last week... As you know, my god-sister came to visit me. We had such a great time. Not mentioning I totally got her into paper crafting... Hehe!

Check out these little kids... aren't they super adorable? I saw them when we were shopping at a local scrapbooking store (Ink About It, Westford, MA). I couldn't help it... I have to get all 3 of them. They are from Catslife Press. The paper is from Bo Bunny Ad Lib Collection.

My second card is inspired by my god sister Charmaine. She loves her Cricut cartridges and distressing ink pads... So, this card is for her. I cut the card and the 'stamp' pattern with the Sentimentals cartridges, them distressed it.

And here is another card made by Charmaine... She cut out the goodies by the cartridge from Going Place. How cool is this? All the highlight of her visit to Boston. She even included my black kitty Stewie! Smiley from millan.net

To see more of her creations, check out her BLOG and leave her some love!!!

Later and have a great day!

Time to Celebrate yet?

Happy happy Thursday! Time for some Chi Chi fun. Since July 4th is coming up really soon, how about something red, white, and blue? I used the Happy 4th stamp set from Chi Chi Memories. You can get it here, plus it's on sale for only $3.96.

I was totally lazy... I couldn't find any pattern paper that I want to use... So, I colored the paper with my Copic marker to create the frame. And the sentiment is from Amuse and I used the Faber-Castell brush pen as ink. Hehe!

Hope you like it and have a great day!

Happy Fathers Day and more...

Good morning and happy Fathers' Day to all the special DADS! I don't really celebrate Fathers Day, since my dad passed away while I was very young. But I do missed him, and wish he is around. However, I'm very blessed to have my god-father and my father-in-law. They are both wonderful. I'm sure a lucky gal! And here is a card that I made to honor this special day!

Meet Emma and another video! :)

Hello and happy Sunday! Hope you are enjoying the weekend. Since summer is right around the corner, how about something bright and cheerful? Meet Emma from Baby Buds Designs! She is so so cute with her curvy hair, and I'm way over due for something blue. Plus I want to play along the TTCRD challenge - "paper piecing".

I don't know about you... but for me, when I use digi stamps and trying to print the image on the design paper is always a challenge for me. I never know which side to print on... actually I'm too lazy to figure it out.Smiley from millan.net So, I made my own paper!

What I did it:
  • I printed Emma twice from my printer
  • I use one of the Emma's, use a polka dot stamp (Stampers Anonymous) with versamark, heated dry, then ink her whole dress in Ranger distressing in broken china
  • Wipe out the extra color with a baby wipe
  • Cut out her pretty little dress

Goodies that I used:
Paper: Basic Grey Lauderdale
Copic markers: E000, E00, E01, E50, E53, B00
Others: Washi paper tape, twine, glitter
Well, I hope you like it and thanks for stopping by! Smiley from millan.net

Woohoo.... weekend!

WoohOOO! It's finally the weekend! How are you? No, I don't have the weekend off... but it's okay, I will have a few days off in a couple days. Check out this adorable owl from Paper Smooches! I have been eye-ing this adorable set called Chubby Chums. And I finally got it and so excited.

I used this super cute paper from Prima So Cute paper stack. And I create the frame with the spellbinders and for the olive green dew drops... I airbrushed the white dew drop with copic markers YG95. Smiley from millan.net

Hope you like it and have a great weekend!

P.S. No video... I was recording while I was making this card, but my battery ran out. Smiley from millan.net Oh well, next time.
