InStyle wedding week...

Hello, I hope all of you had a great weekend. I worked and I watched Alice in the Wonderland 3D in the iMax theatre. Super cool! Anyways, I hope you are ready for another fun week. After visiting the amazing tropical island last week. How about wedding week?

So, day 1 of the Weeking week, sneak peek for you.. Introducing the pearl cake!

I used these elegant paper called La creme from DCWV, colored the image with Copics (110, C3, E40, E41, RV91, W4, Y0000), added lots and lots of glitter, and pretty flowers.

InStyle Color Challenge!

Happy Saturday! I'm so excited about the InStyle color challenge, I love this pretty picture, all the green beaded flowers which is so perfect for St. Patrick's Day and with the splash of lilac! I never thought green and lilac goes so well together...

And here's my card, I used this image called Wanda. She is soooo sassy, I love her boots!!! And of course, her gold earrings!!!

I used the design paper from My Minds Eye Home, Wanda is colored with Copics (BV31, E000, E00, E04, E41, G20, G40, Y00, Y02) and Copic Spica pens (melon, gold).

Let's the adventure begins... Traveling to the Softpencil island. This week, we are featuring one of my favorite image, it's called Michu, his friend and the paper boat. And the theme is embossing! I have been wanting to use my circle Spellbinders Impressabilites forever, and I sure used it here. SWEET! What do you think?

AiFactory featuring...

...this stunning Lily Collection from our amazing Laurie. Aren't they just gorgeous? Who needs real flowers?

And each of our DT girls are featuring different type of lilies, how cool is that? As for me, I have this lovely calla lily. I love calla lily... and they were on my beautiful wedding bouquet too. Ohhhh... beautiful memories. Since I love pink, I decided to color them in shades of pink. For our challenge, we are to create a clear and simple card!

So, I thought of a simple card (but forgot the CLEAR part, so sorry!)


And, here is CLEAR and simple card, I altered with card! I used acetate, and move the pretty pearls in the front!

Gone to the island...

Aloha!!! Are you ready for some island fun? For this whole week, InStyle stamps will be releasing a bunch of hot, hot, HOT digi images. Hop over there and see!

Day 1 of the hula week. Come on, you need to get the island, right? Why not, just laid back and enjoy the tropical weather?

What about Day 2? Unfortunately I have to work, I can only stay at the island for 1 day only. But you can visit the InStyle blog tomorrow and see what are they up to... (trust me, you wouldn't be disappointed!)


On to the card, this image is called island sun. And when I first saw this image, I kept thinking I want to make a shaker card (since I brought these shaker card pouches from my LSS a while back). So, viola! I also used one of my favorite paper pack from CTMH. I colored the image with Copic markers (B000, BG000, BG15, BG45, E31, E41, E57, E59, G07, YG25). Then I added the micro beads. Hope you like it.

And I'll be back to explore the island on Thursday.
