Welcome Baby Girl Angelica!

Hello hello and happy Sunday!

Today's post is for one of my good friend Emily, as of yesterday...
she is a new mom of a beautiful baby girl called Angelica!
Congrats, my friend and I can't wait to meet Angelica!

Well, we need a baby card, right?!

And here are a couple pictures from her baby shower.
I saw a super cool motorcycle diaper cake on Pinterest, so I want to make one for her.
So, I found a tutorial on how to make it on you-tube.  And I think it turned out okay.

A table full of favors!
I made 'heart' shaped rice crispes treat and Bath and Body Works anti-bacterial hand gel.

Snow Day!

Hello hello...  it's snowing outside...  we got about 6 inches of snow so far which is a perfect occasion for the adorable Tilda from the mountain from Magnolia.  Isn't she too cute?  She is just stylin' with her bright ski outfit!

I created a background using the Ranger adirondack ink spray in demin, and the snowflakes are created by using Dylusions snowflake stencil using white acyclic paint.  I also distressed the edges, added a few things, then VIOLA!

Well, off I go!  Sending you warm winter wishes and have a wonderful day!

Fun Mistake!

Hello and happy Sunday to you.  Super excited today...  We got an extra hour sleep as we set back the clock for an hour, woohoo!  With that said, I got an extra hour of crafting, DOUBLE woohoo!!!  Yes, yes, I have another tag for you today, how about this adorable Tilda!!!  So sweet, her light pink dress and her PINKtastic shoes, hehe!

And what the 'BIG' fun mistake?  Well, see these tags... as you know... I have been crazy with mixed media... lots of paints and sprays...  of course, there will be lots of mistakes and rejects, right?!  So, I used gesso to cover the 'mistake' tags, but even that... the tags still look very cool.  So, I can add some background stamps or texture to dress them up.

And here is the view for the whole tag.

Goodies that I used:
Magnolia Tilda
Memory Box background stamp Vintage dream
Star border punch
Recollection bling on a roll
Ribbon (dye with Faber Castell gelato in pinks)
Faber Castell gelato in black (to distress edge)
Stickles and perfect pearls

Happy Friday!

Woohoo! It's Friday once again. I have a tag for you today (I got the Tim Holtz Sizzix tag and book plate die a while ago, and I love it), hehe! I used this adorable little girl from Magnolia. She is so so cute, especially her beautiful bouquet of flowers. I started by distressing the tag, then the fun part - coloring, I finished the tag by adding the ribbon (which was dye with the new Tim Holtz stain in wild honey), and finally I added the flowers (the white one was also stamped, inked and distressed).

Hope you like it and have a fabulous day!
