Well, of course...  I have to use my favorite Gorjuss Girls.  And this is called Purrrrrfect Love.
Love love love her and her kitty (just like my black cat Stewie).  ðŸ’–

I created a fun mixed media background using Prima Artisan Powder Antoinette Pink for some background colors, then spritzed it with Prima Color Bloom spray in worn leather and Tim Holtz heart stencil.  I also distressed the edges with some distress ink pad.  I colored the pretty Gorjuss Girl with watercolor pencils.  And for the Wycinanka chipboard. I colored the sentiment with paint markers, and finished with Nuvo crystal drops for the heart.

Merry Christmas!

Hello hello and happy Wednesday!

Can you believe that Christmas is just 11 days away?  Oh my goodness...  I just started Xmas shopping, LOL!

Anyways, It's challenge time over at the 7 Kids College Fund blog.  I'm sharing a card using the adorable Gorjuss Girl Oops-A-Daisy stamps from 7 Kids College Fund store.  I'm totally obsessed with them.  I have been collecting them for a while, and now the store actually sells them,
I'm super excited!

For my project, I decided to decorate a Very Merry Christmas kraft gift box from Wycinanka.  I started by adhering some Tim Holtz tissue tape on the box with some matte medium.  Then I paint the kraft box with gesso, then with Prima Art Alchemy Acrylic Palint in Metallique light patina.  Then I added hint of purple by using Distress Crayon in Seedless Preserve.  I also added some fun details with Wycinanka chipboards (which decorated with stickers and Nuvo Crystal Drop in white) and some snowflakes.  For the Gorjuss Girl, I colored her with Copic Markers.

So, why not and come join the FUN for a chance to WIN SOME GOODIES!

Love the Ombré effect!

Hello and happy Friday!
I'm sharing a couple of cool cards using Ranger alcohol inks!
If you don't know me, I love colors!  And when I saw the new release of the Ranger alcohol inks.
I was in love with them.  And of course, I need to get them, hehe!

Here is my card using the Ranger alcohol ink Beach Duo set and Penny Black Skyward stamp.

In order to create the ombré effect.  I started by using Yupo paper, then by using a blending tool and apply the alcohol ink on the Yupo paper and blended with blending solution.  Then I stamped this gorgeous skyward by using Ranger Archival jet black ink pad

Since I had so much fun creating my first card.  I decided to create another one using
some wintery colors (Alcohol ink:  Cloudy Blue, Sail Boat Blue, Demin).

Here is a picture of both of the cards!

November Challenge over at the 7 Kids College Fund Blog!

Hello hello and happy Thursday!
Over at the 7 Kids College Fund blog, there is a new challenge starting today!
And I'm sharing my tag.  I love making tags and always cool to get my fingers all inky, haha!

For my tag, I started by using Tim Holtz concerto stencil and applied with picket fence (which will create a little bit of dimension), then allow dry.  I added some colors by using distress ink pad in gathered twigs, fossilized amber, forest moss, stormy sky, and chipped sapphire.

I also added the Holiday Lamppost from Tim Holtz Alternations, I stained it with ground espresso distress stains.  I added some details by stamping with Stampers Anonymous Birch and Pine cling stamps (but unfortunately it was hard to see).  I also used distress glitter in peeled paint and Nuvo crystal drop on the Xmas weath.

I can't help it to not add a victorian Carolers and I did just that.  I colored her by using distress color stains in fried brick, then I used the mini Tim Holtz stencil and applied the details with a black boot blending tools..

A field of funky awesome flowers!

Hello hello and happy Friday.
I'm super excited to share a card that I created for 7 Kids College Fund.
I'm using the Caravelle Studio Cling Stamps called Strips & Lantern's Stemss.  When I first saw this stamp set, I was in love with the beautiful funky flower stems.  Immediately I wanted to create a field of funky flowers.

And I did just that!   I started by creating the background with Tim Holtz distress paint in broken china, crushed olive, moved lawn, and salty ocean.

Then I added more colors by using the distress ink pad (using the same colors).  Then I stamped the beautiful lantern stems with Archival ink jet black.

And I also stamped the flower strips stamps using Archival ink in Garden Patina randomly on the bottom half of the card to create some interest.  Then, I distressed the edges with Tim Holtz distress ink in gathered twigs and seedless preserves.  I also added some butterflies by using Picket Fence distress ink pad & a blending tool from a stencil.  Next, I added some details by using a white gel pen and colored in some of the flowers.  I also added some Festive Fall Sequins mix along with some blings, and finished it up with splatter effects by using Prima color bloom mist in sunshine and lime wedge.
