Softpencil Thursday and more...

Yay, it's Thursday... Just one more day until the weekend! As you know... this is Back to School week for many students. Of course, the Softpencil gang is no exceptions. Introducing Michu and Ratiny go to school!!! Are they super adorable??? I love, love, LOVE the big huge pencil, hehe! I also used the Softpencil polka dot digi paper for the background paper. LOVE everything with polka dots. Yesssss!

I used the layout from PCP sketch challenge,the color choices is from the Color Throwdown #108, and I also entered the Etsy Inspired challenge, this week featured a shop called the Cage Fairy's shop, there is a brown owl ring which is super cool, check it out here!

ISS sketch challenge and more...

Good afternoon and happy September 1st to you! It's time for InStyle Sketch Challenge. Here is the super fun sketch for the month of September. I made a T-slide card, you can find the tutorial at SCS here. I decided to use this cutie pie called Janice. I love her adorable outfit, it reminds me of my school uniform when I was in secondary school in Hong Kong.

Here is the front of the card. I love, love, LOVE the Basic Grey Basic white paper, it's perfect for this. I even made a little book with the smallest dies from the label 7. I was in the mood of some earthy colors.

And here is the side view... I used the sentiment from the Amuse school time set. The T-slide parts were just MS cardstock, but I stamped them with Cover-a-card background stamp screen to create some texture. Viola!! However, I didn't thought of it until after the photo was taken. I should of use some pop up tape for Janice, it would of look better when the card opens. But it was 2am when I had this card done. My bad.Lesson learned!!!

Paper: MS cardstock, Basic Grey basic white paper pad

Stamps: InStyle Stamps Janice, Amuse school time set, Impression Obsession cover-a-card background stamp screen

Other: Copic markers, TH distressing ink pad, washi paper tape, nesties label 7

So, I took the beautiful colors from those yummy cupcakes and the sketch from InStyle sketch challenge. I created by own design paper with glimmer mist (black cherry "mist" fits and fully purple), the pattern is from Spellbinders Impressabilities circles. The base card was also sprayed with glimmer mist in mimosa. Since it's the cupcake inspirations, Cupcake Chloe has to be the star for this card!!!

Can you believe that summer is almost over? Oh my... Since I'm still in the summer kind of mood... Strawberries? A good friend of mine gave me the template of these super cute strawberries a few weeks ago. I have been wanting to try it out. And I need some kind of container for my sweet strawberries. I found the template of this basket at StampTV. And for the image, I used one of the August release called Sunflower. Hope you like it!

Yes, yes... I have gone mad with "anything but a card". Haha! I used one of the new released images called Bee Costume and made a couple of these floral containers. Jordy sure is ready for halloween... For Jordy, he'll probably put lots of candies in these little containers. But for now, I'm borrowing them for flowers storage! Hehe!

Good afternoon my friends, hope you are having a good one! I'm enjoying my wonderful day off. :) Enough of me blah blah blah... hehe! Here is my project for Softpencil this week, we are working with Michu and his big flower. I love love Michu!!! He is such a happy kitty! Hehe.
