Softpencil Wednesday????

Oh boy, it has been a really busyyy week at work.... boo!!! Anyways, back to some happy business. :) Elizabeth had asked us to post today instead of tomorrow. So that we can start drinking and partying early, haha!!! Nah! Elizabeth is planning lots of fun stuff... so stay tune!

As we are gearing up for the new year... I made this simple winter card with this image called We Made a Snowman (which is available at Softpencil), here is another pretty paper from SEI that I have been dying to use, I colored it with copic markers (BG000, B91, B95, C1, C3, N0, E44, R20), I added some frosted lace stickles and liquid applique.

TGF 12 days of sketch challenge. Since I was a newbie at Twilight, got to use another awesome character!!! I love this paper from Basic Grey wisteria collection. Copic colors used: B91, B95, BV23, E000, V99, Y11, and stardust pen.

Just stopping by quickly today, have to work a long day... Anyways, here is my entry for the 8th day of sketches from TGF. Click HERE if you want to play along.

On to the card... I have been dying to use my dahlia nestabilities and I finally did! The dp is from basic grey nook & pantry collection, the sentiment is from My Guy Ian set and pretty head Lily. Other goodies used: bazzill cs, versamagic ink pad in aloe vera, spica pen and copic markers (E000, E00, E40, R20, R81, Y21, YR21)

Hooray...

As you already know... I love these adorable bears!!! I have been in love with them since when I was a child... living in Hong Kong... always buying super cool notebooks, pens & pencils, easers, etc. with the Forever Friends bears on them. And when I found out a while back that these stamps are available... Oh boy, was I excited! But they are only available in the UK, but luckily, my best friend lives in the UK and a few months back she brought me a bunch of them... I WAS TOTALLY ON CLOUD 9!

To make the long story short, I was picked for the Forever Friends Favourite on the Forever Friends Challenge Blog and their guest designer. So, stay tune!

Sketch 7...

Hello, hope all of you are having a wonderful weekend.

On to the 7th Day of Sketches from TGF Challenge, I figured it's time for my favorite sport to shine. K-A-R-A-T-E!!! No, I'm not a black belt.... someday, someday! As for now, I'm happy with my pretty blue belt. :) The dp is from K&Co ecomodern paper pad, Ian is colored with copic markers (E000, E40, E53, R02, V95, V99, black), and I was jumping up and down when I found the Jolee stickers (karate set) from my stash of sticklers. Just perfect!

Hello Friends...

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! We had a wonderful dinner with the family, played the Wii and had a great relaxing day. And it even snowed for a little bit... Ahhh, then I thought this image (thanks to my friend Connie) would be perfect.

I used the design paper from Dream Street Paper wonderland - warm hearts. I didn't do too much with the dp, since it's soooo pretty. However, I did added a few strips of cs and a ribbon. I distressed the image with TH distressing ink pad in antique linen and tea dye, then colored the mug with Copic marker (B13 ice blue) and polka dots. And finally I added snowflakes for some extra something....

Day 4...

Just a few days before Christmas... Since, I had these few days off, I took the opportunity to rest, do a bunch of errands (preparation for Christmas), and YES, I'm finally reading (listening to it while I'm crafting) the Twilight books. To all Twilight's fan, now I can make you proud. Since, I'm only on Book 1, just finish chapter 8... Here is Bella!

I used red and white cs, border is created by MS punch, then I added these yummy candy sticks, and the tag is from the Season Greetings set which I added some sparkles with my spica pens.

Of TGF 12 days of sketch... what a fun sketch! I was trying to decide which image to use. Then I remembered the Chibi Grocery. It's perfect since I was at the grocery shopping for food and get ready for Christmas. Luckily, I'm only in charge of making dessert, appetizer, and roasted vegetables. Happy Monday!

Good day... it's a very snowy day here. Luckily, we only got a few inches.

So, it's a perfect excuse to be lazy, surf the web, and craft all day. HAHA! I hopped over to the Etsy Inspired challenge, their feature shop is Kindlynotes and they had these pretty 2010 calendar. Here is my take on it. I made a few of them, since I will be meeting up with my good friends for breakfast tomorrow. I placed magnet tape on the back, so that they can put it on the refrig.

First, it's Elizabeth (owner of Softpencil) birthday today!!!! Yay!!! Let's Party!!!

It's time for Softpencil, for this week... we are working on Elizabeth's sister, Natalia's beautiful divine creation. What a stunning mandalas! And we have to create anything other than a card, I decided make an ornament. I apologized in advance, the tissel is not perfect... I don't have one at the house (it's near Christmas time, I'm soooo afraid to go the craft store which is next to the mall), so I made one. Hope it's okay.


I have been dying to use these dp from SEI bissettee collection, so I printed the image on to 3 different sheet of dp, the I created different layer. And I also added some sprinkles with my SMOOCH, spica pens, and stampendous dot sparkles.

Magical Wednesday

I'm soooo excited that I just found out I'll have the next week off from work... Woohoo! As I'm jumping up and down, twirling in a chair. I figured to colored up my Autumn fairy, and try to do a farm fresh friday challenge and the Diedrich Dare. Unfortunately her wings did not came out too well, my Shimmerz is kinda dried up, what a poop-a! I quess there is an excuse for me to go shopping for more craft supplies, hehe!

I kept it simple, I made a snowflake garland to decorate my craft room, I used my favorite Anya and Ian(s)...

Since hubby is a sweetheart and a sport fan! Hello and Batter Ian for him.

As for me, I'm a karate girl, so Karate Anya (hint, check out her hair for some Xmas touches, hehe!)is the perfect choice and my two favorites Princess and Mermaid Anya.

Finally, it's not the holidays without Ian with gifts and Elf Anya!

and no, can't show you my craft area (what a mess!), haha!

Anyways, here are the close-ups...

What I did:

The snowflakes were cut out by Cricut (Accent Essentials), cs by Martha Stewart, then sprayed with glimmer mist snowflakes (love that stuff!)

Each Ian and Anya are colored with Copic Markers and doll up with either blings, liquid pearls, spica pens, and sticklers.
