Happy World Card Making Day!

Hello and happy World Card Making Day!

I hope you are ready for some crafting day!  I have to work today...  but I'm sure I will be crafting afterward.  :)  So, to jump started the day... here is a card that I made for my coworker, she recently got married to her sweetheart.  Their wedding is absolutely wonderful, the bride and the groom look amazing!  Congratulations to the new couple!

I absolutely adore this image from the Greeting Farm, it's called Kissy Kissy.  And I even dusted off my Cricut and cut out the Mr & Mrs. for the envelope (yes, yes... I made the envelope using the We r Memory envelope maker, I love it!!!)

Ok, off I go!  Can't wait to craft later today!  Happy Crafting!!!

Hello and happy Father's Day!
From Millan.Net

Just want to stop by and say hello!  Here is a simple and quick Father's Day card that I made for my FIL.   This awesome shirt from the Paper Smooches set and I added a tie brad from Eyelet Outlet, it's perfect for the occasion.  To finish, I cut out two D's using the Cricut machine (yes, I finally dust off my Cricut and cut something, LOL!)

Well, have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by!

Easter bunnies!!!

Hello hello!  Happy Saturday and I hope you are having a great weekend!  I'm enjoying mine...  I went shopping at the local scrapbooking store with my craft friends and tomorrow, I will be spending the day with my family.  Since it's Easter weekend, how about something fun?  Well, how about a full basket of Easter bunnies!  I kept the card super simple and yes, I actually used my Cricut machine.  I cut a basket out and covered it with twine.  Then, the best part, lots and lots of bunnies from the Eyelet Outlet.

Hope you like it and happy Easter!

12 days of Christmas tag - Day 2

Howdy and TGIF! I continue to be brave and play along day 2 of the Tim Holtz 12 days of Christmas tags. Unfortunately, today... I don't have much of the necessary materials. So, I gone bananas looking for what I owe and make the best of it. I used the deer from the Cricut winter woodland cartridge, instead of Xmas paper... I used the regular ones. The jute around the deer's neck was replaced by a ribbon, etc, etc... But I'm happy!

Hope you enjoy it too.... well, let's see tomorrow! Hehe!

First try of playing along... 12 tags of Christmas

Hi hi, if you are a Tim Holtz's fan... you know, his creations are absolutely amazing!!! And every year, he does the '12 days of christmas' tags. And yesterday was day 1 for the 2011 collection. I never done this before, but one of my good friend Tracey did, her tags were stunning. I was drooling over them. So, this year... when I saw tag 1, I decided to give it a try. I didn't have everything, I substituted the 'Noel' with the winter wonderland from Cricut winter woodland cartridge. And a few other things... But here is my version of it.

Hope you like it. Click HERE to see the amazing Tim Holtz in action!

Want a COOKIE?!

Howdy! Would you like a cookie? Haha! Earlier I saw these super cool chocolate drizzle star cookies from Trader Joe, I figured it would be fun and to create a fun, quick, and yummy mini treat for my friends at work. And VIOLA!

I cut out these tags from the Cricut expression, I used the Sweet Treat cartridge. And for the stamp, I got this adorable 12 days of Christmas set from Penny Black, too too cute!

Play time.

Hello and how are you? Just want to stop by and say hello. I recently got a Cricut Gypsy and I have been playing with it. I can't help it to create this beautiful frame with one of my new cartridge that I brought called Ornamental Iron 2. And the sentiment is from Heartfelt Creations.

And you probably have seen this at Tim Holtz's amazing blog or CHA or your local scrapbooking store. I saw a sample of them at my LSS, they did it in all different colors. So, I have to give it a try. I love love love.....

I think I have to make more.... off I go... blog you later!

And the second card... I wanted to try out the Tuesday Techniques watercolor crayons (which I got since May), but since I only have 2 of greens. I also used the yellow Faber-Castell watercolor pencil.

Totally out of my comfort ZONE!

Hola, I got TOTALLY OUT OF MY COMFORT ZONE!!! If you haven't heard about it... The Greeting Farm decided to have a 23 weeks heart journaling class. How cool is that? So, week 1, the theme is WINGS!

Viola! Here is what I made... I never did anything like this before... but it's super cool.

Here is the close up -

I used watercolor pencil and Faber-Castell gelato for the background, flowers, and clouds. The flowers is a stamp set from Close to my Heart called Simple Blossom. I even cut out the fence with Cricut cartridge called Wall Decor and more, then painted with picket fence crackle paint and distressed with tea dye ink. The sentiment is from Tim Holtz Visual Artistry collection Curious Possibility. Flutter Anya was colored with Faber-Castell artist pens. And finally we need some glitter, right?!

Hope you like it and have a great sunday!

Hello and happy Monday! It's finally summer here in New England, the sun is shining. The weather is absolutely beautiful. I decided to enrolled into Summer Card Camp, how fun! I'm super excited. The class starts today, if you want to join... don't worry, you can still enroll until June 29th, click HERE for details.Smiley from millan.net

Here is my first card for the class, I used one of my favorite flowers set from Hero Arts. Since it's a color combo challenge, I used memento ink in rose bud, lilac posies, and cantaloupe.

And here is another card, I'm still learning how to use my Cricut. I cut out a frame from the Sentimental cartridge. I figured to do something different, a grey and yellow combo! This cutie is from Simply Betty Stamps.

Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!

A relaxing weekend...

Hello and happy Saturday! Hope you are enjoying your weekend. Sorry for being so quiet last week... As you know, my god-sister came to visit me. We had such a great time. Not mentioning I totally got her into paper crafting... Hehe!

Check out these little kids... aren't they super adorable? I saw them when we were shopping at a local scrapbooking store (Ink About It, Westford, MA). I couldn't help it... I have to get all 3 of them. They are from Catslife Press. The paper is from Bo Bunny Ad Lib Collection.

My second card is inspired by my god sister Charmaine. She loves her Cricut cartridges and distressing ink pads... So, this card is for her. I cut the card and the 'stamp' pattern with the Sentimentals cartridges, them distressed it.

And here is another card made by Charmaine... She cut out the goodies by the cartridge from Going Place. How cool is this? All the highlight of her visit to Boston. She even included my black kitty Stewie! Smiley from millan.net

To see more of her creations, check out her BLOG and leave her some love!!!

Later and have a great day!

Happy Fathers Day and more...

Good morning and happy Fathers' Day to all the special DADS! I don't really celebrate Fathers Day, since my dad passed away while I was very young. But I do missed him, and wish he is around. However, I'm very blessed to have my god-father and my father-in-law. They are both wonderful. I'm sure a lucky gal! And here is a card that I made to honor this special day!
Smiley from millan.net

Here is something a little more girly. The beautiful stamp in from Hero Arts. I color the image with Faber-Castell big brush pens, I also added some extra sparkles with the Copic Spica pens.

Plus, here are some more creations from my god-sister Charmaine, she sure is a natural. She has only been crafting for only 4 days... She is already playing with distressing ink pad, perfect peals, stickles, embossing folders, and the Cricut! Smiley from millan.net

I hope you enjoyed her little showcase. Have an AWESOME day! We are off to Boston.Smiley from millan.net

Happy weekend everyone, how are you? Hope you are enjoying the weekend. As for me... I'm having a great week, my god sister came to visit me here. And we are having a blast! We eat, sleep, shop, laugh, and CRAFT! Yes, she wasn't a paper crafter before... I have got her into the dark side of the crafting world. Smiley from millan.net

Here is a picture of her IN ACTION! Yes, she is into Tim Holtz.

Sure, it doesn't take her long to have her own goodies...Smiley from millan.net

Check out her amazing creations pieces! She used my Cricut machine, cut out these beautiful hearts, flowers, etc. from the Love Struck and Walk in Garden cartridge. She used Tim Holtz distressing ink pads, stickles, perfect peals, and glossy accents. Trust me, this picture does not do justice.Smiley from millan.net

Above is her very first set of cards...

Finally, here is a card from me... it's super simple! Since I was too busy WOWing all her stunning pieces.

Off we go craft again, I will keep you posted on what she creates... Later!
