Happy Carnival.

TGIF my friends!  Hope you are ready for the weekend?

Since 4th July is a few days away...  I have a fun Chi Chi Memories cards to share.
I used Happy Carnival stamp set and 4th of July stamp set.

Since these are digital images, I was able to create a fun background with the ferris wheel, 'happy carnival' sentiment, Jordy, and Candace.  To add a bit of dimension, I printed out another Jordy & Candace, I cut out each layers and adhered with foam dots.

Well, what kind of celebrations without some lights and blings, right?!  I added glitter on each of the sit with red and blue glitter.  For the middle of the ferris wheels, I figured it would be fun to add a star brad and I also added blings using Bling strips from Eyelet Outlet.

And here is the whole card!  Hope you like it!

P.S.  Did you see the little teddy bear?  Hehe!!!

Here is a little sneak peak for the NEW release from Chi Chi Memories!
It will be available July 1st!!!!
Stay tune...  I can't wait to show you...  It's so cute!!!

Using ribbons for background?

Hello and happy Tuesday!
I'm sharing two fun cards using some Eyelet Outlet ribbons and eyelets with you today.

For the first card, I used the glasses ribbon and black washi paper tape to create the background.
I added this adorable scientist from Paper Smooches, then finished it with an Eye Glass Brad (Since the eye glass brad was a little bit too big for the scientist,  I cut off the middle to fit) and some glossy accent.

And here is a closer look.

Supplies:  Eyelet Outlet Glasses ribbon, Eyelet Outlet Eye Glasses brads, washi paper tape, Paper Smooches Great Chemistry set, and glossy accent.

How about some aliens/monsters action?  For the second card, I created the background using the monster ribbon. I added the cityscape from Memory Box, and an adorable alien with a small eye brad.

Supplies:  Eyelet Outlet Monster ribbon, Eyelet Outlet Small eye brads, Memory Box Cityscape Nighttime die cut, and Paper Smooches  Space Cadet.

I hope you like them and have a great day!

Stay Balanced!

Hello hello and happy Monday!  Since it's Monday, are you feeling a bit stressed?
How about joining Yoga Yolanda (SKU# 4209) for some relaxation?

I kept the card simple.  The pattern paper is from Authentique Summer.  I distressed the edges, I cut out Yolanda and adhered to the card with 3D foam dots.  I also added some blings and Viola!

I hope you like it and thanks so much for stopping by!

Happy Saturday!

Hello hello and hope you are having a fabulous weekend!  It's beautiful in my neck of the woods...
And our outdoor furniture is out, I sat on my deck, enjoyed the beautiful day, and craft the day away!
Life sure is GOOD!

Anyways, I recently found out about these Sushi Doll, they are so so cool and super cute!
Both of these images are from the Dia de los Muertos collection.

Here is the first card, I used Choco, isn't she awesome?  I'm not a morning person... so this is totally perfect!  I thought it would be fun to have 2 Choco.  I kept the card simple.  I colored Choco with copic markers and added a wooden veneer sentiment 'daydream' and some twine.

And the second project, I did a little bit of paper piecing with Glasses (her dress).  I started to color image with Copic markers, and her paper pieced dress is created by printing another image and stamped with a background stamp (for some silly reason,  I never figure out which side of paper I have to put the pattern paper in the printer, haha).  Since, I have been dying to do something other than a card and mixed media-ish...  got to get my finger inky.  So, I got a wood plaque from the craft store and gone bananas.   First, I painted the plaque with white acyclic paint, covered most of it with my beloved washi tape, added more colors and texture with Faber Castell gelatos and Viva 3D stamp paint, and added a bit more decorations.

Well, I hope you like them and thanks so much for stopping by.

Hello there!

Hello and happy Monday to you!  I hope you had a fabulous weekend and hopped along the Art Impressions & OWH blog hop and check out the new OWH stamp sets.   You can click HERE to check it out!

I did a little bit of paper piecing.  First, I stamped out Lovelle on couch and adhered her with foam dots. Then I stamp her again and paper pieced her over the first Lovelle.  I colored the image with Copic markers and I created a picture frame for the sentiment.

I hope you like it and thanks so much for stopping by!
