A sweet surprise and VSN

Hope you are having a great weekend. My hubby surprised me with the bunny "Hello Kitty"... Aww..... I LOVE IT!!! Smiley from millan.net Okay, I'm sooooo ready for spring. And easter too... can't wait to eat easter candies, especially the Cadbury mini eggs. YUMMMMM!

And here are two cards that I made for the Amuse VSN: Winter Olympics. My brain was fried and lack of mojo. Sorry.

Card 1 - "Triple Inspiration", to create a card for the person in your life that inspires you!

Of course, it's my totally awesome MOM, she is the BOMB! She likes all things simple, nothing fancy at all. And when I was little, she always bring me to the park. Good times, good times!!!
So, I chose the Swing girl stamp, I kept everything simple, and I didn't even use my Copics.
Love-ya MOM!

Card 2 - "Bundle Up" - to create a card which fold over each other, and has to be wrapped at least twice.

Thanks for stopping by... Please come back tomorrow... I have a BIG secret to tell you, hehe!!!

Sew Cute!

Smile everyone! How sweet is this little image from Bee Crafty, just darling! Plus, I have been wanting to use this American Crafts Backyard drop dp forever. Viola, here it is!

I kept this really simple. The challenge is "Sew Cute", since I don't know how to sew... I added some faux stitches on her hat and dress with a white gel pen.

What else I did?
I colored the image with Copics (E000, E00, E49, E59, R35, Y06, Y38, YG11, YG17, YG25, YR23), I added some flock on the pom-pom on her hat, and I added a hint of blue with a dabber for the background. And of course, a "smile" ribbon.

Softpencil Thursday!

Two posts today, please check out what are we cooking at AiFactory!
It's a very special week for Softpencil! Well, to begin... over at PCP, this week is our last week for the weekly challenge. But no worries, there are still many chances for you to enter Softpencil's challenges. Check out the details HERE or even over at the PCP Softpencil's group. I'll also keep you post too.

What else? The Softpencil were divided into 3 teams, the teams are called Mermaid, A sweet pirate, and Japanese girl. And our challenge is to use our favorite color medium. And of course, I have to use my Copic Markers, hello... LOL! I used the sketch from the Diedrich Dare whimsical wednesdays. The dp is from K&Co, I also use shimmerz for her shirt, and what do you think about her pearls?

Please also check the other Softpencil DT's blog.

What's COOKING at AiFactory?

Hope you are hungry! We are doing some major COOKING at AiFactory today by the DTs. We have a chance to play with these awesome recipe cards. Check them out HERE... they come in 5 different colors, I used the black ones. They are so fun, just print, cut, and crop along the marked lines. Viola!

As for me, I'm all about simple cooking... I love pre-made Trade Joe's meals, my favorite... Orange Chicken + Vegetable Fried Rice + Veggie Bird Nest = A perfect meal!!! But, even if I cook for real meal, I don't measure anything at all. So, I got an idea while reading the Food Network magazine. The magazine has a section called "Get your Greens", a bunch off yummy snack in celebration for St. Patrick's Day. This Avocado hummus sounds yummy and very easy to make, I have to give it a try!

Don't forget to visit the AiFactory DT's kitchens for their yummy goodies! (Angie, Erin, Carlie, Carole, Cheri, Fink, Fliss, Laurie, Lola, Michelle, Monica, and Penny). Or even join us at the AiFactory Challenges & Freebies Blog.

A little bit of Amuse!

What a challenge! Ok... It's my fault to make this WICKED hard. I figured to combine 2 super cool challenge. First, Glenda's Random Amusing Challenge #54 (I hope I'm not too late!), to create a masculine... What? Birthday card... Honestly, I just remembered to create a masculine card. Can I cheat?... I can stamp something birthday-ish inside, hehe! Smiley from millan.net

And the second challenge is the AMuse Lounge Challenge #13: A Colorful Challenge! I picked black.

So, what do you think? Does this tickle your fancy?

Stylin'

Two posts today, please scoll down and see what am I planting at Softpencil Thursday! :)

Oh my, what a fun and challenging week! Gone bananas with 3D... I think I need a shopping fix after this. :) How about an AiFactory designer purse? Instead of LV, we should have AIF, I bet it will look really cool! I have seen this paper-made wallet from my LSS a while ago, and I was surfing the SCS resource page and find the tutorial. I'm super excited and want to try it out.

I used the beautiful 2010 Vintage Printable Calendar, I cut out the beautiful medallion, distressed the edges with Tim Holtz weathered wood ink pad. And I added lots of silver blings. Just in case, if you are wondering... I used Bazzil cs for this.

Later, I think I should put some $$$ in this, so that I can go shopping. Smiley from millan.net

Please also visit my AiFactory's sisters and check out their beautiful designs.

Want to own Vintage printable calendar? You can purchase it here or join us at the AiFactory Challenge & Freebies Blog for a chance to win!

Softpencil Thursday!

Woohoo, it's Softpencil Thursday! Check out these bugs... Aren't they the cutest? The set is called the bichitos (which is a cute way to say little insects in Spanish).
Too cute but it was a super tough challenge! I have to make anything but a card! Oh boy, I was twirling in my chair for days... Thanks goodness for the PCP 3D Tuesday Challenge Group, and for this week's features Planet Something Fun, there is a wonderful tutorial on how to make this planter box. You can find the tutorial HERE! I figured it would be perfect for these little bugs. :)

Hope you like it. Don't forget to check out the other Softpencil DT's projects!
P.S. The big flower... it's actually a heart shape lollipop and the funny heart shaped rocks are jelly beans. I LOVE Valentine candies. Hehe! Want some?

Girls ROCK!

Yeah!!! Sorry, I haven't been create as much these couple of days. I have been busy, between working and Chinese New Year... I was soooo excited that I have a chance to see my uncle and auntie whom I haven't seen for many years. Good times, good times! Okay, I have been hiding listening to my audiobook... (I finally finished the whole Twilight series! It was sooooo GOOD!)

Anyways, it's time for a little bit of TGF, the Case of the Curious Card. Hope you like it. :)
I used my of new favorite... Basic Grey Origins, label 7 nesties. Of course, I used TGF's stamps - Chelsea and Talk Loud, I colored Chelsea with Copics (E00, E43, E53, E55, E57, G20, G40, G82). The yellow cs is actually white cs but I inked it with Tim Holtz ink pad in mustard seed. And yes, I also used stardust pen and Copic Spica.

Love this... :)

Happy Monday! What do you think about this pretty stamp? This gorgeous stamp is from Sweet Pea Stamps and it's called Haiti Relief Stamp which 50% of the sales will go to Doctors Without Borders.

I kept this simple, I stamped the image in versamark vintage sepia on ivory cs, then I used Tim Holtz ink pad and dabbed it with antique linen and tea dye to create the vintage look. I added some extra touches with spica pens in baby blue, sand, and gold.

Softpencil x2

Happy Thursday my friends...

As you know... normally I would have 2 posts on Thursdays. But for this week, both AiFactory and Softpencil DTs are working with super adorable image(s) from our talenated Elizabeth. And do you know that Softpencil's images can be purchase at AiFactory too?

Card 1 - Be mine.

The Softpencil's DT was challenged to make a SPRING CARD (the tutorial can be found HERE), and the image we used is called Be Mine.

Goodies that I used:
DP from Basic Grey Sugar Rush, Michu is colored with Copic Markers (B91, B93, B95, E34, Y32), stardust pens, flowers were sprayed with gimmer mist in peppermint stick and hydrangea (additional blue on the mini flowers were airbrushed with copic markers B95) and pearls.

Card 2 - Many hearts.

The challenge for the AiFactory's DT is to create a card with lots of hearts with the image a lovely couple (one of my favorite!) So, I figured what better is to use valentine dp, lots of hearts and even cupids. Hehe.

Goodies that I used:
DP from Teresa Collins crush, bazzill cs, image was colored with Copic Markers (E000, E00, E55, G20, N0, N2, N4, RV11, RV32, R37), and heart blings.

Life's simple pleasure...

I love this sentiment! Life's simple pleasure! Nothing better than just simply sit back, relax, and have a cup of coffee or two (just in case if you are not a coffee drinker, maybe tea? or your favorite beverage?) Ok... I'm being silly again... ohhhh... what else is new with me? HAHA.

Anyways, here is the card that I made for the Amuse Lounge Challenge #13: A Colorful Challenge! I choose the #1 color combo, to use french roast, swiss red and popsicle pink.
