Easter bunnies!!!

Hello hello!  Happy Saturday and I hope you are having a great weekend!  I'm enjoying mine...  I went shopping at the local scrapbooking store with my craft friends and tomorrow, I will be spending the day with my family.  Since it's Easter weekend, how about something fun?  Well, how about a full basket of Easter bunnies!  I kept the card super simple and yes, I actually used my Cricut machine.  I cut a basket out and covered it with twine.  Then, the best part, lots and lots of bunnies from the Eyelet Outlet.

Hope you like it and happy Easter!

Happy 29th BDay!!!

Hello hello and happy Thursday!  Just one more day before the weekend, woohoo!!!  I want to do something fun for this week Art Impressions' challenge, the theme?...  'Pin it!' - use cloth pins, safety pins, etc...  I decided to use the Happy 29th set for a fun birthday card, I love this sentiment, happy 29th Bday... again...  How old am I?  Haha...  I'm 29 every year!!!

Enough of me telling you how I'm turning 29 every year....  on to the card, I wanted to get my finger inky a bit.  I started by spraying the background with Heidi Swapp color shine sprays in mustard and sweet cherry, then distressed the edge with Faber Castell gelatos in red and black.  I also use the heart set stamp (which I inked the heart with gelato too), for the sentiment, I colored them with aquuarelle watercolor pencils and added glossy accents for some dimensions.   I hope you like it!

Beach Babes!

Hello hello and happy Art Impressions' Monday!   I know summer might not be here yet, but just can't no to these adorable beach babes, hehe!  OMGoodness, I love love love this Girlfriends set of 4 (SKU#3588), aren't they totally cool?!  Instead of a card, I decided to decorate a wooden picture frame just for these awesome girlfriends!

I got a wooden frame from my local craft store for $1, I primed the frame with acyclic white paint.

I used Map of Europe (SKU#Y2506) and inked with archival ink in vintage sepia to create an interesting background.

I also added a layer of Golden glass bead gel and allow dry overnight .
(which created a super cool texture, love it!)

To finished it, I distressed the frame with distress stain and pan pastel, then I added 'BEACH BABES' (covered with crackle accents), a few embellishments, colored the Girlfriends with Copic markers, and Viola!!!

I hope you like it and especially their sparkling bathing suits!   :)

Hello hello, I hope you have a great weekend and a St Patty's Day!  It's Art Impressions' Day and I have a quick and easy fun projects today from the Windows to the World collection.  I just adored the Birdhouse Neighborhood (SKU#M3312).

I made four cards for the set and kept them clean & simple.  I matted the card stock with an script embossed folder and colored the image with Faber Castell watercolor pencils.

Here is the close up of one of the cards.

Since, I was having so much fun coloring, I even made another set!  I used the Gazebo Window (SKU#M3174).

Here is another look of the second set and I also added a piece of twine to wrap the cards up as a set.
I hope you like them.  Have a great day!
