Happy Mothers' Day

Hello hello and happy Mothers' Day to all of you!

I know, I know...  I have been EXTREMELY quite in the blogland, so sorry!  Work has been super busy, haven't have lots of time to play...  Since it's Mothers' Day, I have the perfect excuse to make a couple of cards for my moms.

I decided to use one of my new stamps from the Greeting Farm, she is from the Super Secret Stamp club called Beauty, she is so so cute!

The first card is for my amazing mom.

And the second one is for my MIL.

Well, that's it from me today, see you tomorrow with my Ai post, ok!

Happy World Card Making Day!

Hello and happy World Card Making Day!

I hope you are ready for some crafting day!  I have to work today...  but I'm sure I will be crafting afterward.  :)  So, to jump started the day... here is a card that I made for my coworker, she recently got married to her sweetheart.  Their wedding is absolutely wonderful, the bride and the groom look amazing!  Congratulations to the new couple!

I absolutely adore this image from the Greeting Farm, it's called Kissy Kissy.  And I even dusted off my Cricut and cut out the Mr & Mrs. for the envelope (yes, yes... I made the envelope using the We r Memory envelope maker, I love it!!!)

Ok, off I go!  Can't wait to craft later today!  Happy Crafting!!!

Totally challenged!

Hello hello and happy Wednesday!  I was totally challenged yesterday...  not only I made not one but two projects...  Holy cow!Smiley from millan.net Plus, they are 'manly'.  And without further adieu, here they are:

Project 1:

I created a tag for the Farm Fresh Challenge, the theme is Anything but a card.  So, I used one of my 'messed up' mixed media tag with the My Guy Ian set, then I created another cool background by using the Dyluison stencil, and finally I added the super cool duck tape.

Project 2:

Here is a card that I made for my father in law, he loves golf...  And today is his birthday!   Happy happy Birthday!  For the image, I used this super cool golfer called Earl from Art Impression Golden Oldies collection (which was embossed, then colored with watercolor pencil).  I created the background using the Hero Arts birthday stamp, the paper is from My Mind's Eye Stella Rose, then I added some ribbon & twine, a super cool banner from Memory Box Simple Banner die, and some Prima blings.

Challenges:
Creative Craft Challenge 2 - Bingo (Blue, Stamp, Emobss)
Forever Friends - Ribbon or Twine
ABC Challenge - Sketch

I hope you enjoy them and thanks so much for stopping by!

What a FUN week!

Hello blogger friends, sorry that I have been so quiet... but I was super super busy having fun!!!  First my god-sister arrived, then my dear friend Alice arrived 2 days later.  We were out and about everyday, we went sight-seeing in Boston, Portsmouth, and of course the local scrapbooking stores!  Not to mention we ate lots of yummy meals, snacks, especially dessert (my god-sister and I are big time foodies, haha!)

I just love this cutie pie from the Greeting Farm, she is called Glimmer Bean.   I created the background with my new favorite Dylusions ink sprays and I added twine, washi paper tape, and lots of glitter!

We first got our shopping fix at Ink About It, Westford, MA.  Linda (owner), she is super sweet!

Then, Absolutely Everything, Topsfield, MA...

Sightseeing in Boston....

Got to have some good Dim Sum at Chinatown...

It's not Boston without lobster, right?  We went to eat at the Union Oyster House, Boston, MA and saw this HUGE lobster weighs over 10 lb.

Portsmouth, NH...  I love this town, totally New England!

And we ended the busy week with the CKC Scrapbook Convention...  more on that later!
