Happy Pi Day!

Today is pi day! pi or π ?
Just for people who don't remember.... It is a mathematical constant, it is 22/7 or 3.141592653589793... Back in the good old school days, when we have to calculate the Area and the Circumference of the circle.
Millan.netHere is a little refresher!
Area (A) = πr2 and Circumference (C) = πd, which r is the radius of the circle and d is the diameter of the circle.
Here is a card for pi day! I was going to use Boris "mad scientist"... but then I was hungry for Chinese... Well, at least I have a bunch of circles, maybe I can measure the radius and diameter with all of the circles and calculate the Area or Circumference. Smiley from millan.net
Have a wonderful Pi Day!

3 x 3 = 2009?

I didn't know... I was watching the news earlier this evening. Today is SQUARE ROOT DAY!
Okay, I must admit I am a nerd, I love Math. I always have been good in Math and Sciences. I was even a Math major in college!
So... let talk geek! Today is the Square Root Day... the last one was February 2, 2004! And the next one will be April 4th, 2016! Got it!! 2x2=4, 3x3=9, and 4x4=16. I'm sure you can figure out. Free Smiley Courtesy of www.millan.net I have to make something to celebrate today, hehe! I don't have any root vegetables, but I do have a leafy tree "with root", and the image is square. And the snail is a bonus just for you.
Have a super SQUARE ROOT day!
