Etsy Inspired Challenge #59

TV time?! Aren't these mini TV adorable or what? They are from The Little Red Door from Etsy. You know.... I wanted to send a shout out to all my blogging friends to introduce me to all these wonderful goodies. BIG hugs and thank you... without you, oh man! I'm sooooo missing out. Back to business, the Etsy inspired challenge, I decided to use one of my favorite stamp from Unity, it's called Love is Everything. And the TV is perfect for this wonderful occasion.

I kept this very simple. I stamped the image with rhubarb stalk memento, inked the image with Tim Holtz distressing ink pad in antique linen and tea dye, and added some sparkles with a few Spica pen. Viola!

Snowboarding DIVA

This week, the DT girls have a choice to pick... either the snowboarding dude Ivan or snowboarding diva Alicia! Of course, I have to pick Alicia.
She is such a super cute chica! And here is our color choices. So, I kept it simple with black and white, I embossed the white cs with cuttlebug embossing folder, then inked it with Brilliance Starlite Silver ink pad (so that it's not soooo white), I added ink to the border too. I colored Alicia with Copic markers BV04, BV23, V93, N2, and C3.

Softpencil Thursday

Good day, it's Softpencil Thursday. For this week, the DT got a chance to play with this beautiful winter scene, it's called Snowy Day. It's so pretty, little snow flakes falling... Honestly, I'm so not ready for winter. We didn't have much of a summer this year, but either way.. it's coming! I noticed that the trees are starting to turn color!

Anyways, for this challenge, we have to make a pop-up card, I didn't want to make the same pop-up card as before. So, I decided to try something different. I used the chisel tip of my copic markers to create the background, colored the rest of the images, added some bling with spica pens, and I also used Tim Holtz distress stickles rock candy for the snow and the crackle paint (rock candy) for the roof.
Here is a closer look. Hope you like it.

Just a reminder...
