Happy Bear Hug Monday!

Hello hello and happy Bear Hug Monday!

Valentine Day is just days away, it's time to send you some love.  

And this adorable Bear Hug set (SKU# 4361) will be perfect. 

Well, can't spread the love without some heart, right?  I used a heart stencil with some paint to 

create a background.

For Mr. Bear, I used watercolor markers to color him.  I cut him out, adhered with foam tape for some dimension.  And since Bear Hug is an Ai Shakers, I also added a wobble too!

For some finishing touch, I used a red glitter pen for just a bit of shine on his boxers and bowtie.

Towbow markers:  N89, N95, N45

Art Impressions Mixed Media style!

I'm sharing a mixed media project with you today using one of super cool Try Folds called 

Messy House (SKU# 4452) .

I started with a plain white canvas.  I colored it up some colorful gelato, then continue with adding more using some stencils with embossing paste and acrylic paint.  For the black and white dots are created by using a paint brush and splatter over.  And the big circles, I used the cap of the embossing paste.

To finish the canvas.  I colored the Messy House images with Tombow markers, then adhered to the canvas with matte medium, and then secured it with some washi paper tape.  To finish it, I added some bright gelato to match.  

Faber Castell Gelatos:  Coconut, licorice, watermelon, strawberry, elderberry, kiwi 

Tombow markers:  673, 062, 451, 491, 990, 942, 133, N45, N65, N89, N95

Dreaming away at the beach home.

I absolutely adore that set.  Just the sight of the beach, it totally make me smile and happy.  

I'm just dreaming to live in this little house on the beach.

Super Bowl Sunday!

Hello hello and happy Sunday!

Happy Super Bowl Sunday!  Do you have any special plan/football party?  Honestly, I'm not a big football fan, but I'm sure up for the yummy food or even just have a good time.

Since I live and grew up in New England...  I will be cheering for the Patriots!  Go PATS!

How about some pre-game crafting?  Going to keep things simple...

I got this super cool Tim Holtz Treat Blueprint stamps a couple weeks ago, have to ink it up, right?

So... onto a kraft cardstock, colored it up with a few colored pencils... VIOLA!

Yes, yes...  I have also gone to the dark side of mixed media, it's so so much fun,  I'm loving every minute of it.  Love get my fingers inky and not to mention playing with art supplies.  Hehe!

Well, off I go again... I have a craft date with a good friend, we are doing Life Book 2015 together!

Life Book 2015 week one...

Hello hello!!!

I have gone bananas with art supplies and have been interested in doing mixed media for the longest time...  So, for the year of 2015.  I signed up for a few online classes and hopefully to learn more fun techniques and have lots of fun getting my fingers inky.

Here is the week 1 from the Life Book 2015!

I had so much fun with this project.  And can't wait to do more projects!

Snowy Ai friends

Hello hello and Happy New Year!

I hope you had a great holiday and happy 2105!!

We got a few inches of snow on last week, so I figured it would be fun to use the super cool 

Sledding Penguins (SKU# Q3062).  

I decided to create a snow background using Pan Pastel.  Once, I got the desired colors, I sprayed with the spray mist to seal the pastel. 

Then I used the Heart Background (SKU# H818) to create some snow.  I stamped it with versamark and embossed with white embossing powder. 

For the adorable penguins, I colored them with colored pencils.

And Viola!
