Love the Ombré effect!

Hello and happy Friday!
I'm sharing a couple of cool cards using Ranger alcohol inks!
If you don't know me, I love colors!  And when I saw the new release of the Ranger alcohol inks.
I was in love with them.  And of course, I need to get them, hehe!

Here is my card using the Ranger alcohol ink Beach Duo set and Penny Black Skyward stamp.

In order to create the ombré effect.  I started by using Yupo paper, then by using a blending tool and apply the alcohol ink on the Yupo paper and blended with blending solution.  Then I stamped this gorgeous skyward by using Ranger Archival jet black ink pad

Since I had so much fun creating my first card.  I decided to create another one using
some wintery colors (Alcohol ink:  Cloudy Blue, Sail Boat Blue, Demin).

Here is a picture of both of the cards!

Goodies from the 7 Kids College Fund store:

Ranger Archival ink Jet Black
Tim Holtz Alcohol ink (Beach Deco set)
Ranger blending tool
Ranger blending solution
Penny Black Skyward cling stamps

And for the second card, I used the balloon washi tape instead.

A London card inspired by my friend Catherine.

Hello and happy Wednesday!   I was inspired by my dear friend Catherine's post the other day.  She created a beautiful card for the Cupcake Craft Challenge, the challenge theme is "Best of British".  My mom and I both love England very much.  So, when I saw the Penny Black Love London clear stamp set, of course, I have to pick it up.

Onto the card, I used the map background stamp from Hero Arts/Studio Callico.  And the layout is from the Penny Black PB&J Monday.  Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by.

Play time!

TGIF! How's going? I have a couple of projects to share today...

First up, I just love this gorgeous breezy leaves from Penny Black. I inked up the stamp with distress ink pad in peeled paint, then embossed. I used the friend script background stamps from Hero Arts, then the dragonfly die from Memory Box.

Ok, the second one... totally out of my comfort zone. But as you know, I'm madly insane about the new Dylusions ink spray and those super cool stamps. I just can't keep my eyes off them. So so cool!

Well, off I go... Have a great weekend!

Day 2 of class....

Hi hi, it was day 2 of class yesterday.... so so fun. I'm totally enjoying inking up glossy paper and just having inky fingers!

Here is a card using the 'Kissing' technique.Smiley from millan.netI just loveeee the gorgeous background stamps from Hero Arts (friend definition and fabric design) and how about the flower with border punches, huh? Hehe! The sentiment is from Penny Black.

And here is my page of this week the Greeting Farm's heart journaling class, the theme is 'One Word', since halloween is coming (plus, I live in New England, we live to use the word WICKED a lot), so why not to do a halloween page. The paper is from My Minds' Eye Haunted and I also use some Tim Holtz dies and stamp to dress up the page.

Until tomorrow....Smiley from millan.net
