Snowman LOVE!

Hello hello and happy Monday!

I'm sharing a card and spreading some wintery love.  I'm using one of my favorite winter image from last year called Christmas to All Set.  Super super cute!

I have be totally addicted to watercolor lately.  So, I wanted to try out different types of watercolors.  I colored the adorable snowman in watercolor pencils.

Of course, we have a fun background, right?  I created to background with the watercolor set.  The snow is done by stamping the snowflake background that also included in the set with chalk ink pad, and finished it up with some glimmer.

Viola!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great week!

Super cute Ai Penguins and Ai Reindeer set at Michaels!

Hello hello and happy Thursday!
I'm super excited to share two sets of cards featuring the new Michaels Ai stamp sets from Hampton Art.  They are now available at your Michaels.

For the first set of cards, I used the Ai Penguins set (SC0716).  I absolutely adore these little penguins and the snowman, so cute!  I just want to give him a big hug.

I decided to color the images with colored pencils and die cut with a stitched oral die.

Here is a closer look of both cards.

For my second set of cards.  I used the Ai Reindeer set (SC0715).

I also colored the images with colored pencils, but I wanted a non-white background.  So, I used Pan Pastel to add some colors behind the images (hint: Pan Pastel can be erase with a eraser before it's sealed), to seal the Pan Pastel, I used the pearl white spray mist, plus it also added a little bit of shimmer.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Can't wait to see your Red and Evergreens creations!

Colored Pencils used:
Ai Penguins card set:  Derwent Colorsoft red, black, dove grey, persian grey, light green, green, pale blue, orange, and deep cadmium
Ai Reindeer card set:  Lyra Polycolor, pale geranium lake, light carmine, canary yellow, gold ochre, ochre, apple green, moss green, raw, brown ochre, raw umber.  For skin tones:  Prismacolor beige and  peach, Faber Castell Polychromes flesh.

Collage Mania with Ai

Hello hello and happy Monday!
I decided to share something a little different today.  Well, I was inspired by the coloring books which are totally the craze right now.  Many many pages of black and white design.  Then, my light bulb switch came on...  Why not, use some fun Ai Girlfriends and Ai People!

For the first card, I used the Ai/Hampton Arts Wine clear set from Michaels.  I stamped the image four separate times, cut them up, and then adhered to a based card stock.  I also create a border by using a Copic markers (using the chisel tip and touch it around the border to get a framed look.)

Since I have so much fun, I wanted to do another card using the Throttle Spinner.

But for this card, I used a different color and also switched up the pattern.

Cheers and thanks so much for stopping by!  Time for some coloring!
