Remember this?!

Hello and happy Saturday!  Remember this?  Haha, probably not...  Well, I forgot that I started this project last year on Card Making Day while I was hanging out with my crafty friends.  And since I received my Paper Crafts magazine a few days ago, everything was halloween and it totally inspired me to finish it.  And yes, yes, I did finally finish it!

Here is the inside pages of the book...

I didn't put too much embellishments yet, since I wanted to add some picture in it first.  So so fun and I just love love love this halloween theme paper called the Apothecary Emporium from Echo Paper.  Totally fun.  Hope you like it!

Softpencil Tuesdays...

Hello and happy Softpencil Tuesday!  Up for some Softpencil's fun?  Yea, yea...  I just can't get enough with this adorable digi stamp called Ratiny's dad.  Maybe it's the mustache!  LOL!  So, I decided to use some 'manly' colors, hehe!

On to the card, I started by using pattern paper is from K&Company, but it's too plain, so I added the cloud background stamp from Impression Obsession and mixed media stamp from Stampers Anonymous to create some simple pattern papers.  The sentiment is from Paper Smooches, and finally for the buttons, I don't have brown buttons.... so, I inked them with alcohol inks.

Scrap-mart post week 2

Hello hello, how are you?  I'm super excited to show you what I did this week for Scrap-Mart with these awesome dies from Life Style Craft Broom and Grow Collection, Viola!  Yep, yep... no card this week, I made a flower stand.

First, we need a background, right?!  I cut out this beautiful Medallions die and used it as a background, and distressed it with Tim Holtz distress ink pad.  And for the other pattern design, I used the Impression Obsession Cover-A-Card Canvas background stamp.

See... super easy, plus you can get inky fingers too, LOL!

Can't have flower hut without flower pots?  I picked up these adorable mini flower pots from a local craft store and sprayed them with Tattered Angels glimmer mist.

And I did the same with a different color to create the ground (which the hut sits on).

On to the flowers... I used the mini flowers, leaves, clover, and branches from the Bouquet die to create the flowers and placed them in the mini flower pots.  For a bit of extra touch, I covered the flowers and plants with Flower Soft and for added texture, I also sprayed them with goosebumps texture spray.

And last, but not least, how about a simple decoration?  I used the Adornments die.
