Merry Merry Christmas!

Hello hello my friends...

Merry Merry Christmas!!!  Sending you lots of happiness and hope Santa is good to you!

I know, I know...  I have been EXTREMELY quiet for the past few months...  Yes, work has been quite busy, plus the holidays between Thanksgiving and Christmas...  Yea, yea... excuses, excuses!

But I finally did a little bit of playing today!

Nothing come in between my craft goodies (stamps, ink sprays, stencils, markers, etc...) and I, hehe!    Just lots of fun!  The finally product of art journal page!
Viola!!!

Well, off I go again...  I'm off to create again...  maybe another journal page?  or a card?

I'll be back!  Until then, have a very Merry day!

Hugs!

Loveeee my washi tape!!!

Hello hello!  I'm back to share another fun card using a few of my favorite EO goodies.
I have been madly in love with washi tape for the longest time, so when I saw the new
washi/decorative tape, I was over the moon!

I decided to create a fun pattern paper using the washi tape.  I just use white card stock as a base and cover it with washi tape love.

Then, I stamped the image directly on the 'washi pattern paper'.

I stamped the same image again on a separate card stock.  Then I colored her face and hair with Copic markers.  (Face E00, E11;  Hair E33, E35, E37).  I fussy out her hat and outfit and adhered to the card.   Note:  I actually stamped the image 2 separate 'washi pattern paper', one for each pattern (washi tape love and washi tape glitter - light maroon)

To finish the card, I also added pink paper flower, 14mm scallop brads - pink, jewel bling strips - grey, and saying bubble brads.  And Viola!

Hope you like it and have fun with all your yummy washi tapes!
And before I say goodbye... here are a few more 'washi pattern paper'!
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!

Halloween tag!

Hello hello and happy weekend!

I know, I know...  it's too early for halloween, but I just love it...
it's never to early for me (Honestly, I think it should be all year long, haha!).
I just love everything halloween!  From stamps, paper, colors, etc...

Over at Simply Betty Stamps, they have an awesome Facebook Fan Page, they have a super fun challenge using this wicked Witch Mercedes.  Isn't she just wicked awesome?!

Instead of a card, I made a tag instead!  The challenge is to use halloween colors, so I colored Witch Mercedes with Copic marker (of course, I added some blings) and then distressed with distress ink pad in peeled paint.  I also used a bunch of other goodies, such as Dylusions spray for the tag, Tattered Angel sprays for the tulle, Faber Castell gelatos for the halloween tape, plus more...  So so fun!

Hope you like it and have a 'WICKED' day!

Relaxation... canvas fun!

Hello hello my friends, I hope you had a great holiday weekend!  I had a long weekend...woohoo!  So happy and got some major relaxation, it's very much needed, hehe!   And I even got to hang out with my crafty friends too.  We went shopping at our local scrapbooking store and brought a bunch of new goodies!!!  Plus, one of my good friend Karen who totally inspired me to create a canvas (She creates beautiful projects, you can check out her blog, HERE!).  So, I did.  Thanks Karen!!!

For my canvas, I created the background using Pan Pastel, the beautiful fence is a stencil from Prima using acyclic paint, the fun lawn is created by using Dylusions stamp set and then colored with neocolor II crayons.  And the Prima girl was colored with neocolor II crayons and Faber Castell aquaelle watercolor pencils and adhered on using matte medium.   And I finished it up with some stickles.  Viola!!!

Off I go, blog you later.... I'm making another canvas, will show you when I finish with it.  From Millan.Net

Happy Saturday!

Hello hello and hope you are having a fabulous weekend!  It's beautiful in my neck of the woods...
And our outdoor furniture is out, I sat on my deck, enjoyed the beautiful day, and craft the day away!
Life sure is GOOD!

Anyways, I recently found out about these Sushi Doll, they are so so cool and super cute!
Both of these images are from the Dia de los Muertos collection.

Here is the first card, I used Choco, isn't she awesome?  I'm not a morning person... so this is totally perfect!  I thought it would be fun to have 2 Choco.  I kept the card simple.  I colored Choco with copic markers and added a wooden veneer sentiment 'daydream' and some twine.

And the second project, I did a little bit of paper piecing with Glasses (her dress).  I started to color image with Copic markers, and her paper pieced dress is created by printing another image and stamped with a background stamp (for some silly reason,  I never figure out which side of paper I have to put the pattern paper in the printer, haha).  Since, I have been dying to do something other than a card and mixed media-ish...  got to get my finger inky.  So, I got a wood plaque from the craft store and gone bananas.   First, I painted the plaque with white acyclic paint, covered most of it with my beloved washi tape, added more colors and texture with Faber Castell gelatos and Viva 3D stamp paint, and added a bit more decorations.

Well, I hope you like them and thanks so much for stopping by.

Float On!

Hello hello, I hope you had a fabulous weekend and happy Monday to you!

Well, are you in the mood of getting your fingers inky?  I have a fun card for you today using the awesome Girlfriends from Art Impressions!  For the past few months, I have gone bananas with stencils, paints, and spray inks.  So, I figured why not.  I took out a few sprays ink from my stash and create a cool background for these Girlfriends from the

I picked a few super fun colors (teal and blues), perfect for the ocean.

Using a stencil and mist away!

Then, I colored the Girlfriends with copic markers.  And yes, I actually stamped the Girlfriends 3 times,  then fuzzy cut out each layer (Bottom layer - all the Girlfriends, middle layer - the front 3 Girlfriends,  and front layer - the middle Girlfriend).  For the tag,  I only use a part of 'float on' sentiment from the set.

And here is the close up!

I hope you like it and have a great day!
