Happy happy birthday!

Hello again! Hope you had a wonderful weekend. This is a card that I made for a good friend of mine Crissy. And what perfect occasion... the theme for Karber's weekly challenge is birthday. Unfortunately, I missed the deadline... but oh well, I have so much fun! ;)

Anyways, got to love this little character... Music Leslie from Karber Digital Images. She is just so so cute!!!! I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday.

Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by! Smiley from millan.net

InStyle Stamps and Cupcake Inspirations...

That's one sweet combination! InStyle Stamps is super excited to be sponsoring at the Cupcake Inspirations this week. See these colorful and yummy cupcake above, they are our inspirations!
So, I took the beautiful colors from those yummy cupcakes and the sketch from InStyle sketch challenge. I created by own design paper with glimmer mist (black cherry "mist" fits and fully purple), the pattern is from Spellbinders Impressabilities circles. The base card was also sprayed with glimmer mist in mimosa. Since it's the cupcake inspirations, Cupcake Chloe has to be the star for this card!!!Smiley from millan.net

I hope that you like it, and I hope you can play along with us at the InStyle Sketch Challenge or Cupcake Inspirations for a chance to win some InStyle goodies!

Love my "Softpencil" shoes...

Yes, yes... I'm totally a shoe girl! And purses too! I was twirling in my chair at my craft space... then I remembered a good friend told me about this super cool ladies high-heeled shoes pattern/template by Ellen Hutson. Here is the template. So, I decided to give it a try! It's not totally perfect but not too shabby for the first try.

At first, I airbrushed the pair of shoes in FYR1, but then I thought.... let's glitter it up!!! Smiley from millan.netSo, I did. I used MS fire opal glitter. :) I used the halloween circle (from Softpencil) on my shoes!

A place for your notes...

Hola, it's Method Monday over at InStyle Stamps, and it's my turn for it. So, I would like to share a simple project with you. Let's get started!

You will need:
a 12"x12" cork tile
a 12" x12" cardstock (main frame - dark blue)
a 11.5" x 11.5" cardstock (inside frame - light blue)
your favorite ISS image
embellishment of your choice

First, you have to create a frame. So, using your first piece of 12"x12" cardstock, measure at 2" (cut a straight line) from 2" to 10". And repeat for the next 3 sides.

Here is the picture of the frame #1.

Then use the 11.5" x 11.5" cardstock. Measure at 1" (cut a straight line from 1" to 10.5"), and repeat for the next 3 sides.

Here is another picture of the completed frame. :)

Now, this is the fun part... Time to decorate!!! I used Trish for my project, and I also added some chipboard alphabets, 2 thumbtacks, and more chipboard goodies.

Really simple, right? Hope you give it a try!

Life's a beach!

Hey hey, I'm back again... It was rainy all day, so I got lots of crafting done. Here is a card for the Anything Goes challenge over at the Michelle Perkett Challenge Blog. I used this sweetheart called Olive.
