Me, MIA...

Hello hello my friends, how are you? Sorry that I have been MIA....I have been spending a lot of my crafting time playing this super fun game on my iPad or iPhone called Draw Something, so so fun and addicting! Smiley from millan.net

And of course, I missed my crafting... ink, glitter, stamps, and much more... Time for some stamping fun. I was totally inspired with Julie Ebersole's today video tutorial, Glittered Copics technique over at Ellen Hutson. Check it the video here. Super super cool!

Here is my take of it. I used the Hero Art Newspaper background for my card. Hope you like it!

Testing out the new distress markers..

Smiley from millan.netHello and happy Wednesday! So, after drooling on the new Tim Holtz distress markers for days, it's time to put them to work. And yes, I did, I did. It was so much fun. Here is what I did... I colored this pretty flower stamp from Hero Arts Blooming Meadow with distress markers, then stamp... and then spray with some water and stamp again (without re-applying with distress marker).

Top image is the 2nd generation stamping with spray of water (which created an awesome watercolor effect)

Below image is just with the distress markers...

I used Hero Arts kraft card stock. The card on the left hand side is the 2nd generation and right hand side is the original without the water. Which one do you like better?

Love the WINDOW...

Good morning, good morning my friends, and happy Friday to you! I'm totally in love with the window die from Memory Box/Poppy Stamps. And I can't get enough of it, so here are two cards that I created using the die.

Card 1 - Sweet little Tilda standing in front of her red brick house... I created the brick house background using Tim Holtz embossing folder, white Faber Castell gelato was added. And I can help to add on the flower pot, flowers, and vine (also dies).
Card 2 - A birthday card for my good friend Alice. Happy Birthday Alice!!! She loves owls, and her two adorable doggie. I thought it would be fun... Her two puppies are hanging out at the sofa, and the owl from the outside peeking in!

Have a fabulous day and thanks for stopping by!

miss U...

Good morning blogging friend, how are you? I was blog hopping and visited my friend Lisa's blog from the Purple Place.... She had lots of beautiful yellow cards yesterday. I was totally inspired. I too created a yellow card. I used this sweetheart from the Greeting Farm, it's called Cheeky Mate, the background is created by a Tim Holtz embossing folder, she is sitting on a chain created by a EK Success punch, and the bubble is from MFT Say What die-namics stamp set.

Hope you like it and have a fabulous day!
