Happy Snowmen!

Hello and happy Monday!
Winter is sure here in New England.  Well, it's time to welcome our adorable snowmen from the Holly Jolly set.  They are so cute and ready to celebrate!

I was totally inspired by Bonnie's stunning watercoloring videos from Watercoloring Wednesdays.
So, I decided to color the adorable snowmen using watercolor marker in African Violet.

Backyard HERO!

Hello hello and happy Monday!
Living in New England, I absolutely love the fall season.  For the past couple months, our trees have changed into beautiful arrays of yellow, orange, and red colors. And now, it's time to clean up the leaves which have fallen and start getting ready for the winter!
I think we need to honor our Backyard Boss today!

For the background, I used distress ink in tumbled glass, stormy glass, forest moss, and gathered twigs by using a blending tool.  And I die cut this fun leafy border with watercolor paper (which I first misted with water, then applied distress stain in fossilized amber, candied apple, and gathered twig, then distressed the edges).

Love the Ombrรฉ effect!

Hello and happy Friday!
I'm sharing a couple of cool cards using Ranger alcohol inks!
If you don't know me, I love colors!  And when I saw the new release of the Ranger alcohol inks.
I was in love with them.  And of course, I need to get them, hehe!

Here is my card using the Ranger alcohol ink Beach Duo set and Penny Black Skyward stamp.

In order to create the ombrรฉ effect.  I started by using Yupo paper, then by using a blending tool and apply the alcohol ink on the Yupo paper and blended with blending solution.  Then I stamped this gorgeous skyward by using Ranger Archival jet black ink pad

Since I had so much fun creating my first card.  I decided to create another one using
some wintery colors (Alcohol ink:  Cloudy Blue, Sail Boat Blue, Demin).

Here is a picture of both of the cards!

November Challenge over at the 7 Kids College Fund Blog!

Hello hello and happy Thursday!
Over at the 7 Kids College Fund blog, there is a new challenge starting today!
And I'm sharing my tag.  I love making tags and always cool to get my fingers all inky, haha!

For my tag, I started by using Tim Holtz concerto stencil and applied with picket fence (which will create a little bit of dimension), then allow dry.  I added some colors by using distress ink pad in gathered twigs, fossilized amber, forest moss, stormy sky, and chipped sapphire.

I also added the Holiday Lamppost from Tim Holtz Alternations, I stained it with ground espresso distress stains.  I added some details by stamping with Stampers Anonymous Birch and Pine cling stamps (but unfortunately it was hard to see).  I also used distress glitter in peeled paint and Nuvo crystal drop on the Xmas weath.

I can't help it to not add a victorian Carolers and I did just that.  I colored her by using distress color stains in fried brick, then I used the mini Tim Holtz stencil and applied the details with a black boot blending tools..

That's from me today!  Can't wait to see what you create!
