"Oh my chickens!" challenge!

Hello hello and happy Thursday!!!

Do you have any chicken(s) stamps?  If yes, you have to come play  along the "Oh my chickens" challenge over at Art Impressions!!!   Honestly, I'm not a chicken person, but... until I see this super cool chick from the Art Impressions' catalog, it's totally hilarious!!  So so funny and I'm loving it!!!

On to my card, I used this awesome chick called Birdie (SKU#U1834) and I also used a sentiment called Blah Blah (SKU# G1664).  And I created the chicken wire background using a stencil and some distress ink pads.

It's all about ANIMALS!

Hello hello and happy Wednesday!

I'm sharing a couple cards using the NEW washi tape - decorative tape from Eyelet Outlet today.

On the card, I created the background pattern paper using the dog washi tape.  To finish the card, I added a sofa, a fun sentiment, and matching puppy brads.

Supplies:  Dog washi tape, puppy brads, Poppy Stamps small hayward sofa, Paper Smooches chit chat and word salad set, black card stock, copic markers.

And for the second card, I used the balloon washi tape instead.
And I paired it with the balloon brads, so fun!

Supplies:  Balloon washi tape, balloon brads, Penny Black bubbly stamp set, Copic markers, red and yellow card stock.

Halloween tag!

Hello hello and happy weekend!

I know, I know...  it's too early for halloween, but I just love it...
it's never to early for me (Honestly, I think it should be all year long, haha!).
I just love everything halloween!  From stamps, paper, colors, etc...

Over at Simply Betty Stamps, they have an awesome Facebook Fan Page, they have a super fun challenge using this wicked Witch Mercedes.  Isn't she just wicked awesome?!

Instead of a card, I made a tag instead!  The challenge is to use halloween colors, so I colored Witch Mercedes with Copic marker (of course, I added some blings) and then distressed with distress ink pad in peeled paint.  I also used a bunch of other goodies, such as Dylusions spray for the tag, Tattered Angel sprays for the tulle, Faber Castell gelatos for the halloween tape, plus more...  So so fun!

Hope you like it and have a 'WICKED' day!

Relaxation... canvas fun!

Hello hello my friends, I hope you had a great holiday weekend!  I had a long weekend...woohoo!  So happy and got some major relaxation, it's very much needed, hehe!   And I even got to hang out with my crafty friends too.  We went shopping at our local scrapbooking store and brought a bunch of new goodies!!!  Plus, one of my good friend Karen who totally inspired me to create a canvas (She creates beautiful projects, you can check out her blog, HERE!).  So, I did.  Thanks Karen!!!

For my canvas, I created the background using Pan Pastel, the beautiful fence is a stencil from Prima using acyclic paint, the fun lawn is created by using Dylusions stamp set and then colored with neocolor II crayons.  And the Prima girl was colored with neocolor II crayons and Faber Castell aquaelle watercolor pencils and adhered on using matte medium.   And I finished it up with some stickles.  Viola!!!

Off I go, blog you later.... I'm making another canvas, will show you when I finish with it.  From Millan.Net

Hello Celeste!

Hello hello and happy Monday to you!  It's a Labor Day here, hurray for a day off!!!
I have a CAS card using one of the new Ai People collection, the Celeste set (SKU#4326).

On to my card.  I used washi tape to create pattern paper for Celeste's sofa (I covered a piece of card stock with washi tape, then stamp as usual.  Hint:  There are many types of washi/decorative tapes, make sure the ink is dry first to prevent smudging).  Then, I colored Celeste with colic markers and cut her out with foam dots.  I also added some glossy accents and sparkle on her wine.  Viola!

I hope you like it and have a great day!
