Softpencil Tuesdays NEWS and VIDEO!

Hello and how are you today? I have good and bad news for you today... Let's start with the bad first. My good friend Elizabeth (the owner of Softpencil) told me a very sad news. She had decided not to continue with the digital-stamps, and this is the very last new release for Softpencil. As you know, I have been on the DT for a while now, in fact Softpencil is my first ever DT! I remembered that day when Elizabeth asked me to join the team. Boy, I was on cloud 9.

Anyways, here is the LAST new release... the CUPCAKE COLLECTION!

You can get them at the Softpencil Shop.

I hope you enjoyed it... Don't worry, I will be back to show you the projects with the last release this month, it's not the end yet! So, stay tune!

Something simple...

Hello and happy weekend! Hope you are enjoying the weekend. The weather is beautiful here. However, I have to work... oh well, I have to work for stamps, right? Haha! It has been busy at work... I'm brain death!

I wanted to make a CAS card, but I also want try something "un-like" me... So, I decided not to use my Copics. OMG!!! But thanks goodness, I have the Faber-Castell big brushed pens. I love them. You can use them to color, stamp, and much more... And I even used Flower Soft too (for some reason... I just like buy them, but I barely use it, so viola! I did and I promised I will use it more.)

A relaxing day...

Hello and happy Wednesday, hope you are having a great week! I had a great 4 days weekend, no work, just chilled... How sweet is that? Since the weather has been great here. I wanted to do something summer-y... How about a beautiful sunset with the adirondack chairs?

I created the sunset with the Faber-Castell gelatos, the stamps are from a local scrapbooking store called Colorful Creations at Cape Cod, MA. They created a bunch of stamps especially for New England. How cool, huh? You can see the whole collection here. And yes, I did draw the birds (I know... I don't like hand drawing things on my cards either, it's killing me).

Stamps used: Colorful Creations adirondack chairs and relaxing

Plus, I started my May Button Farm kit. Woooo... there are lots of goodies in it. Love the Button Farm. If you are not familiar with the Button Farm, it's a kit! You can check it out here. And within each kit, it contains everything necessary to complete the album/project and more... Plus, it also has an instruction sheet to help you. And they also have a Button Farm Club too, which you can automatic receive a kit monthly.

Here are the 2 pages that I finished. Well, I'll show you more when I get more done...

Thanks for stopping by... got to run!

Softpencil Tuesdays!

Hello and how are you today? It's time for another Softpencil Tuesday, today I'm featuring another new digi called Rainy Cloud from the Sky Collection. The pattern paper is from Basic Grey marjolaine. And since I can't find a matching ribbon to match the cloud... so, I used a white ribbon and colored it with my Copic Marker. I also used glossy accent on the rain drops and the cloud too.

I hope you like it and don't forget that Softpencil is running an Anniversary Challenge, you still have until tonight to finish... Click HERE for details! For some speedy inspiration, please feel free to visit the rest of the DT ladies!

My very first craft VIDEO!

Hello and happy Monday! How are you? Yea... I have gone mad making video, and here it's... my very first craft video. I recently learned this super cool technique a few months back. I know, I know... it's nothing new. But it think it's awesome!

And here is a card that I made using this technique, I love this adorable little flower girl from Penny Black, she is super sweet. I used the Sizzix starry night embossing folder instead, and used the Hero Arts shadow ink in soft green.

I hope you enjoy the video and thanks for stopping by.

P.S. Yes, there will be more videos coming...

A great date with hubby...

Hello and happy weekend to you! Sorry I don't have a crafty project for you today, instead... how about a very yummy video?

Hubby and I decided to enjoy the beautiful day out in Boston. If you know me well, you know that I love food and I love to take pictures of it too. Well, I hope you enjoy it... it was a fun easy video that I made from my iPad.
