Experiment #1

Howdy, how are you this WICKED day? Isn't ever too early for halloween? Not for me, I love love love HALLOWEEN! I got happy mail today from Simply Betty Stamps, loveeeeee these new stamps, this is Mummy London .... soooooo awesome!

And I even experiment a bit... I have been wanting to use colored pencils lately, so I started with using Copic marker to color her mummy outfit. But for her hair, I used colored pencil instead. The border is from Tim Holtz twigs die, and the sentiment is from Amuse.

Hope you like it and have a WICKED day!

Back to normal!

Hello blogger friends, thanks so so much for all the lovely comments and wishing me safe. Big thank you, thank you, and THANK YOU! Hurricane Irene is finally gone, we ended up losing power for almost a whole day. I'm so thankful to get the 'amazing' electricity back and have things back to normal. I was in the mood for coloring, I just love this 'pirate' mermaid from Sweet Pea Stamps.

Hope you like it and I'm off to craft some more...

Maybe a windy weekend...

Hello and happy weekend to you... I heard from the weather channel that we are going to have some bad weather, we are going to get the hurricane from Maryland... Hopefully we won't get too much heavy wind and won't lose power. However, check out this adorable stamp from Sister Stamps, this is Mei Lin, she is too cute!!! She is holding her pin wheel, maybe she can measure our wind storm this weekend. Hehe!

Wish us luck and have a good weekend!

Let's Go!

Hello crafty friends, hope you are enjoying the weekend. I recently got the Travel Journal clear stamp set from Hero Arts at Michaels on clearance. Woohoo! So, have to ink it up. I paired the super cool tag and sentiments with the clock background (also from Hero Arts). The memories and date tag is from the Landry Line from My Minds Eyes.

Hope you like the vintage look and as always thanks for stopping by. Hugs!

Another simple card.

Happy Wednesday. Just want to drop by and say hello! Not too much with me, just hanging out and testing out one of the La Blanche stamp that I picked up last month at my LSS. Plus, I wanted to play with the new distress stain. So, I created the background with Distress stain in walnut stain and also inked some text with antique linen (but I didn't show to well). And I distressed the image even more with the edges, etc...

Well, that's it for me, have a great day and thanks for stopping by.

Totally out of my comfort ZONE! Week 3.

Hi hi, you know it... it's time again for the Greeting Farm Heart Journaling project! Oh boy, oh boy! It's sure getting challenging. This week's theme is gratitude! I didn't know how to start, so I decided to play with the Tim Holtz distressing stain in shabby shutter, distressed it with more and more colors, then masked it with the punchinella, then I didn't like it... then I added more ink and stain... and Viola! I love this picture frame Hambly print screen, and I decorated with chipboard letter for some dimension.

Well, hope it's okay! Thanks for stopping by!

Totally out of my comfort ZONE! Week 2.

Howdy, I'm totally crafting on the edge.... it's week 2 of the Greeting Farm heart journaling class. The theme is Sandy Sunshine. With this theme, I can't help it to put a picture of my wedding in my journal. I married my wonderful husband on April's Fool Day in the beautiful beach in Aruba.

And here is my take, I never used soft pastel before.... but I want to try it out. It was super fun and a challenge. To add a bit of texture, I used some fabric as a photo mat and for the seashell (I dabbed the background with pearl dabber ink, then stamped with the seashell stamp from Hero Arts).

Can't wait until week 3... Have a great day!

Play time.

Hello and how are you? Just want to stop by and say hello. I recently got a Cricut Gypsy and I have been playing with it. I can't help it to create this beautiful frame with one of my new cartridge that I brought called Ornamental Iron 2. And the sentiment is from Heartfelt Creations.

And you probably have seen this at Tim Holtz's amazing blog or CHA or your local scrapbooking store. I saw a sample of them at my LSS, they did it in all different colors. So, I have to give it a try. I love love love.....

I think I have to make more.... off I go... blog you later!
