Challenge time... Quilling?!
Hello hello and happy Thursday! Up for a challenge?! Over at the Art Impressions' blog, we are having a super fun challenge, the theme is QUILLING! Yes, you heard it... I never done quilling for my cards before, but it's quite popular now... So, I decided to give it a try! Hehe! Super super fun and easy to do! I decided to created a candle which will go perfect for my pretty Holly Wreath (SKU#U2752). To create the candle, I just cut cardstock in 1/4" strips and roll it up, glued together to create the shape of the candle, then added another strip of paper to create the edge of the candle, Viola!
I hope you like it and come play along over at Ai and for a chance to win $10 gift certificate at the store, click HERE for more details!

Totally challenged!
Hello hello and happy Wednesday! I was totally challenged yesterday... not only I made not one but two projects... Holy cow! Plus, they are 'manly'. And without further adieu, here they are:
Project 1:
I created a tag for the Farm Fresh Challenge, the theme is Anything but a card. So, I used one of my 'messed up' mixed media tag with the My Guy Ian set, then I created another cool background by using the Dyluison stencil, and finally I added the super cool duck tape.
Project 2:
Here is a card that I made for my father in law, he loves golf... And today is his birthday! Happy happy Birthday! For the image, I used this super cool golfer called Earl from Art Impression Golden Oldies collection (which was embossed, then colored with watercolor pencil). I created the background using the Hero Arts birthday stamp, the paper is from My Mind's Eye Stella Rose, then I added some ribbon & twine, a super cool banner from Memory Box Simple Banner die, and some Prima blings.
Challenges:
Creative Craft Challenge 2 - Bingo (Blue, Stamp, Emobss)
Forever Friends - Ribbon or Twine
ABC Challenge - Sketch
I hope you enjoy them and thanks so much for stopping by!
