Spreading some LOVE!

Hello and happy Thursday!  Hope you are having a fabulous week!  As for me, not too bad, work is a bit busy, but it's okay!  The harder I work... means that I can even play harder!  HAHA!  Anyways, time for some challenge!  For this week over at the Art Impression's blog... we want to see some paper piecing action!  Yep, yep, time for some fuzzy cutting!!!  

I 'fuzzy' cut out the heart and the flower pot from this adorable stamp called Valentot Heart.  Too too cute!!!

Chillin' with Jean!

Hello and happy Monday...  It's Art Impression day and today I made a few tags featuring Jean today, she is totally awesome! Not only she is super cool and she sure knows how to have fun, haha!

For all three tags, I created a super cool background with Dylusions ink sprays in fresh lime and vibrant turquoise, I also used the Heart Background (SKU# H818) to add some interest on the tags, then I distressed the edges with distress ink pads in seedless preserve and dusty concord.  And for Jean, I colored each of them with Faber Castell watercolors pencils in shades of greys and black.

Valentine card set.

Hello hello, time for another super fun challenge from Art Impressions' blog challenge and for this week, the theme is 'It's in a Bag! or Box!'.  So, I decided to make a set of Valentine card set.  I created the box using this tutorial HERE.  I used this super adorable kitty from the Lovin' Feline Set.  I kept it really simple.  I colored the the kitty with colored pencil and covered it with glossy accent.  And of course, need some twine action.  hehe!!!

Some catching up...

Hello hello and how are you?!  I'm doing some major catching up...  work has been crazy crazy, I haven't have to much time to play.  And this past weekend, I finally did...  Not only I hang out with my crafty friends, spent all day laughing and crafting away.  I also went shopping at my LSS too....  Haha!!!  Yes, I was a lucky girl!  

So, for the catching up part, I signed up for Life Book 2013 in December, I have been wanting to explore more into mixed media...  I figured it would be perfect!  And here is what I did so far...

Off they go... Up Up and Away!

Hello and happy Monday!  I hope you had a fabulous weekend and ready for another fun week!  For this week, I have a special Girlfriend card to share...  I love hot air balloons, I was super excited when I saw the Up and Away  (SKU #Y4231) stamp.  Not only it's a limited edition stamp, plus it's also help the Obediah Fund in Kenya, for more information, please click HERE.

On to the card, I created a background using the Map of Europe (SKU#Y2506), I stamped it twice to cover the whole card stock in archival ink, using Faber Castell gelato (light blue and white) and randomly cover the area, then use the baby wipe to smooth out the colors.

And here is the finished card, I finished coloring the image and added a few small hot air balloons.  Viola!  I hope you like it!
