Softpencil Tuesdays!

Hello and welcome back to another Softpencil Tuesday! I'm super excited to show you the new June released Cupcake Collection, they are so so cute! First up, Amy on a Cupcake! She is available now at the Softpencil Shop! Ok, I did had too much fun doing some paper piecing the other day... I used a Prima background stamps to create Amy's dress and the cupcake wrapper. And I glitter up the cupcake with lots of glitter, hehe! Unfortunately, can't really see it well on the picture.

Okay, you probably already saw it at the Softpencil blog... Yep, my dear friend Elizabeth (owner of Softpencil) created this AWESOME skin for my iPhone!!! I love my iPhone already, now I love it a lot more!

And here is how its look on my phone! Cute, huh? I even ordered one for my iPad, I'll show you once it arrives!

Meet Emma and another video! :)

Hello and happy Sunday! Hope you are enjoying the weekend. Since summer is right around the corner, how about something bright and cheerful? Meet Emma from Baby Buds Designs! She is so so cute with her curvy hair, and I'm way over due for something blue. Plus I want to play along the TTCRD challenge - "paper piecing".

I don't know about you... but for me, when I use digi stamps and trying to print the image on the design paper is always a challenge for me. I never know which side to print on... actually I'm too lazy to figure it out. So, I made my own paper!

What I did it:

• I printed Emma twice from my printer
• I use one of the Emma's, use a polka dot stamp (Stampers Anonymous) with versamark, heated dry, then ink her whole dress in Ranger distressing in broken china
• Wipe out the extra color with a baby wipe
• Cut out her pretty little dress

Goodies that I used:

Paper: Basic Grey Lauderdale

Copic markers: E000, E00, E01, E50, E53, B00

Others: Washi paper tape, twine, glitter

Woohoo.... weekend!

WoohOOO! It's finally the weekend! How are you? No, I don't have the weekend off... but it's okay, I will have a few days off in a couple days. Check out this adorable owl from Paper Smooches! I have been eye-ing this adorable set called Chubby Chums. And I finally got it and so excited.

I used this super cute paper from Prima So Cute paper stack. And I create the frame with the spellbinders and for the olive green dew drops... I airbrushed the white dew drop with copic markers YG95.

P.S. No video... I was recording while I was making this card, but my battery ran out. Oh well, next time.

Hello and happy Thursday! The weather was beautiful yesterday, the sun was out and I think the temperature hit almost 90 degree... So, I want to create a card with the Sunny Day stamp set from Chi Chi Memories. I love this little girl with the umbrella. And I decided to do something different, no PINK, haha!

Softpencil Tuesdays NEWS and VIDEO!

Hello and how are you today? I have good and bad news for you today... Let's start with the bad first. My good friend Elizabeth (the owner of Softpencil) told me a very sad news. She had decided not to continue with the digital-stamps, and this is the very last new release for Softpencil. As you know, I have been on the DT for a while now, in fact Softpencil is my first ever DT! I remembered that day when Elizabeth asked me to join the team. Boy, I was on cloud 9.

Anyways, here is the LAST new release... the CUPCAKE COLLECTION!

Something simple...

Hello and happy weekend! Hope you are enjoying the weekend. The weather is beautiful here. However, I have to work... oh well, I have to work for stamps, right? Haha! It has been busy at work... I'm brain death!

I wanted to make a CAS card, but I also want try something "un-like" me... So, I decided not to use my Copics. OMG!!! But thanks goodness, I have the Faber-Castell big brushed pens. I love them. You can use them to color, stamp, and much more... And I even used Flower Soft too (for some reason... I just like buy them, but I barely use it, so viola! I did and I promised I will use it more.)

A relaxing day...

Hello and happy Wednesday, hope you are having a great week! I had a great 4 days weekend, no work, just chilled... How sweet is that? Since the weather has been great here. I wanted to do something summer-y... How about a beautiful sunset with the adirondack chairs?

I created the sunset with the Faber-Castell gelatos, the stamps are from a local scrapbooking store called Colorful Creations at Cape Cod, MA. They created a bunch of stamps especially for New England. How cool, huh? You can see the whole collection here. And yes, I did draw the birds (I know... I don't like hand drawing things on my cards either, it's killing me).

Plus, I started my May Button Farm kit. Woooo... there are lots of goodies in it. Love the Button Farm. If you are not familiar with the Button Farm, it's a kit! You can check it out here. And within each kit, it contains everything necessary to complete the album/project and more... Plus, it also has an instruction sheet to help you. And they also have a Button Farm Club too, which you can automatic receive a kit monthly.
