Good morning, how are you today? Today is a very beautiful day. Yes yes, it's the day for the Royal Wedding. But for me, I will be at the CKC Convention, Manchester, NH. My crafty friends and I will be taking a few classes and shopping the day away. Plus, we are going to have our own crop night. I'll back to show up what I made, so stay tune!
Until then, over the
Baby Bud Designs blog, there will be another monthly challenge (this month is
Punches & Dies!). So, pull out your spellbinders punches, etc... Craft away! Plus, there is a
freebie Baby Bud Umbrella (for a limited time only), hop over at grab it now! Isn't the umbrella so cute? I wanted to experiment a little bit... I put on my mad scientist hat and lab coat.
How about a polka dot umbrella? I don't know about you... I love paper piecing, but it can be challenging with digi stamps. And I never remember which is the correct right to load in the printer. So, there I decided to make my own paper...

I used a rubber polka dot background stamp, instead of ink pad... I used the new Faber-Castell big brush pen. Then I covered the dots with glossy accent.

Then I covered the
Baby Bud Umbrella with Tim Holtz distressing ink pad in mustard seed. (If the red polka dots look too yellow, you can lightly wrap in with a wet paper towel or baby wipe)

Viola! I popped it with another Baby Buds Umbrella to add some dimension.
Hope you like it and happy Friday!
